mathcat345 asked: Did things work out with the crazy dog lady? I'm glad to see your two babies snuggled up together and hope this means everything is okay!

Thanks for asking!

Our neighbor (who accused our pit/greyhound Sadie of “attacking” which never, ever, ever happened) MOVED OUT. YAY!!! I think she realized Michael and I were taking her false accusation VERY seriously, had petitioned for character witnesses, contacted an attorney, and got in touch with Animal Control (she reported our dog there, too) before they began the investigation to learn our rights, what to expect, etc. Essentially, letting her know we weren’t afraid because we trust and love our dogs and had nothing to hide.

So, while the immediate issue of a harassing, pants-pissing, drunk/stoned/high neighbor is resolved, there’s the major issue that goes beyond just us which is that a completely unwell person who repeatedly proves to be a terrible tenant, is more trusted than a dog and its responsible owners simply because of the breed. So Michael and I are still looking for a place that is more breed-friendly. :)
